El populismo de derecha y la comunicación

Resumen

El artículo presenta las definiciones y comprensiones que el campo académico ha producido sobre el populismo, con el fin de destacar las diferenciaciones entre populismo de izquierda y de derecha – enfatizando las cuestiones relacionadas con este último – y señalar las articulaciones entre populismo y comunicación, debatidas en los últimos tiempos. Concluyendo el trabajo, se discute la necesidad de utilizar el marco expuesto de forma reflexiva y contextual, con observaciones sobre los casos de Donald Trump y Jair Bolsonaro.
